by downloading, installing, or using sunset ("the app"), you agree to these terms of service. if you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. eligibility

you must be at least 13 years old to use this app. by using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. description of service

sunset is a free sleep reminder app that sends scheduled notifications to help you maintain healthy sleep habits. features include alarm scheduling, live activity widgets for lock screen and dynamic island, and bedtime reminders. no account registration is required.

4. your responsibilities

- use the app in accordance with all applicable laws

- provide accurate alarm settings

- do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app

- do not use the app for any unlawful purpose

5. notification disclaimer

important: we cannot guarantee that notifications will be delivered on time or at all. delivery depends on factors outside our control including:

- your device's power state and battery level

- ios settings, do not disturb, and focus modes

- network connectivity

- apple push notification service availability

do not rely solely on sunset for critical wake-up alarms. always use a backup alarm for important appointments.

6. intellectual property

all content, design, and functionality of the app are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. you may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

7. disclaimer of warranties

the app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. we do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.

8. limitation of liability

to the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to missed alarms, oversleeping, missed appointments, or any other damages arising from your use of the app.

9. indemnification

you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.

10. termination

we may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, for any reason. you may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

11. changes to terms

we may modify these terms at any time. changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. severability

if any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. entire agreement

these terms, together with our privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the app.

14. governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of the state of california, united states, without regard to conflict of law principles.
